Sullivan Products was originally founded in the late 1940s.
It began as a small manufacturer of Control Line products
for the consumer model aircraft market.
These products were a success, and over the ensuing years
Sullivan created products for the growing Radio Control segment.
In 1982, Sullivan merged with The Perfect Parts Company. Perfect
Parts served broader markets. This gave Sullivan access to
more engineering and equipment resources.
In the late 1990s Sullivan entered the expanding Unmanned
Vehicle market. Many of the UV products were a direct result
of the experience Sullivan had in vehicle electronics/power
systems, control hardware, and fuel systems.
Sullivan has been responsive to customer needs, developing
new product sizes and capabilities as needed. Today, Sullivan
has off-the-shelf, cost effective solutions for a variety
of unmanned vehicle systems. These products have been proven
in many programs. Even if a product needs to be customized
for a program, or designed from scratch, our overhead structure
means that we can usually provide reliable systems faster
and at lower cost than in-house designs.
