Reverse Pancake altenator can be customized more than
most types, as there is more room for different sizes
and styles of stator.
They can be wound one or more phases, they can have
multiple windings, there is considerable flexibility
in power capacity and they can have high or low speed
ranges as well.
The magnet ring can be a split design. This allows
the alternator to be mounted to an existing shaft
without removing the shaft or couplings. This makes
this type alternator a good choice for remote power
generation from rotating machinery shafts. |
